New swimming pool to open in Olympic year

Crosfields is delighted to confirm that planning approval for their new swimming pool project was granted by Wokingham Borough Council in January. The state of the art pool is the next large scale development project for the School.

Ski Trip – Years 6 to 8 – Easter

Each year Crosfields runs a ski trip which is open to all children from year 6 to year 8.  It is not necessary for the children to have skied before, and this trip can be an excellent opportunity to introduce your child to Skiing, where he or she will learn the sport with friends in ability groups.

Château de la Baudonnière – Year 7 – September

At the beginning of the Autumn Term, the whole of Year 7 spend a week at the Château de la Baudonnière in Normandy.  The children are immersed in the French language, and by the end of their stay, their oral work has improved considerably.

Year 8 Week

The Year 8 Week is a traditional non-academic period of activities which takes place in Cornwall in the week following Common Entrance Examinations in June.
