New swimming pool to open in Olympic year

Crosfields is delighted to confirm that planning approval for their new swimming pool project was granted by Wokingham Borough Council in January. The state of the art pool is the next large scale development project for the School.

Annual Ski Trips

Each year Crosfields runs a ski trip which is open to all children from Year 6 to Year 8.  It is not necessary for the children to have skied before, and this trip can be an excellent opportunity to introduce your son or daughter to Skiing, where he or she will learn the sport with friends in ability groups with a full-time instructor.  Recent trips have taken in resorts such as La Plagne, Claviere and Montgenevre in the Alps and Sunday River and Stowe on the East side of the USA.  The next trip departs on March 31st 2012 to Serre Chevalier in France.

After a brilliant trip to Moutgenevre in 2011 we are returning to France a little further up the same valley to the fantastic resort of Serre Chevalier.  The group depart on March 31st and fly from Gatwick to Turin, then transfer by coach to Serre Chevalier.  Included in the price of the trip are 5 hours of Ski tuition per day by L’Ecole du Ski Francais, and a full programme of Apres Ski activities including a Pizza night, Games and Disco nights!  The trip runs during the first week of our Easter holidays, and all current Year 6, 7 and 8 pupils received a letter & booking form on June 14th 2011.  The trip is now full!

I am delighted to annouce the launch of the 2013 Year 6/7/8 Ski Trip to Sansicario in Italy.  The dates for this trip are February 17th – February 24th 2013 (half-term week); the trip is open to any current Year 5, 6 and 7 pupils and booking forms & deposits are required before April 27th 2012.  The booking form can be downloaded by clicking the following link:

In 2012 Crosfields are runing an innaugral Ski Trip for Year 4 and Year 5 children.  The destination for this trip is the resort of Pila, Italy, and the group will be travelling there by coach in the same week as the senior trip goes to France.
