13 March 2010 – Quiz and Chips Evening
This year 14 teams competed for honour of winning the 2010 CPA Quiz Night.
We enjoyed a fish and chip supper whilst getting our heads around the questions and as always this was a fiercely fought event with lots of fun, laughter and some amusing banter. An event not to be missed!
13 June 2010 – Summer Picnic
This year we had some 800 people on the school fields enjoying picnics, BBQ’s, the petting zoo, inflatables, circus skills, swimming pool, games of cricket, football and all the competitions and games set out around the school for children to enjoy whilst parents catch up with friends and relax with a glass of something in the sunshine.
17 September 2010 – New Parent’s Evening
The CPA host this evening every year to allow all new parents to the school the opportunity to meet each other over a glass of wine in the dining hall. There is a brief introduction to the CPA and the majority of the committe are around then for any questions you might have about us or school life in general.
21 November 2010 – Christmas Fayre
Held in the Sports Hall and in its fifth year, this year again proved to be a big success. We had a steady stream of children visiting Father Christmas in his grotto, choral accompaniment provided by the Pre Prep Choir, refreshments on the balcony and about 50 stallholders selling a wide variety of items for Christmas Presents or just for treating yourself! We also had another 10 stalls run by the CPA with raffles, tombola and many games and entertainment for the children whilst you do your shopping.
29 November 2010 – Westfield Shopping Trip
A popular trip with Mums, a coach picked up from school and took a happy band of shoppers up to Westfield for the day, returning just in time to collect children from late stay.
4 December 2010 – Dinner Dance
A dining hall full of guests donned their dinner suits and party dresses, enjoyed a sit down christmas dinner and then dancing until the early hours. Many parents got together on tables from 4 upto 16 and it was the usual social party atmosphere that many parents come to annually to kick off their festive period.
This year we also organised Keepsakes for Nursery and Reception, a mousemat and mug respectively and a Wrapping Paper sale.
