Foundation Stage (Early Years)
The continuing investment made by Crosfields in its provision for children in the early years of their education reflects the importance the school places on the experience we provide for children as they join the Crosfields family.
Since its opening in September 2008, Marlborough Lodge Nursery has developed into a unique environment in which the children can take their first steps in learning supported by caring, highly qualified staff. It has the benefits of being a cheerful, bright and completely secure environment whilst having on its doorstep the extensive facilities of the school site.
The Reception children are also based in their own vibrant, friendly and spacious environment. They benefit from modern facilities combined with traditional values and experienced teaching staff. The children have their own outside space but also regularly venture out into the school grounds to take advantage of the unique learning opportunities they provide.
