Autumn Term

This term the children will explore the elements of LINE and FORM.

The work covered may include:

  • Observational drawing (still life).
  • Sketching (people, faces)
  • A study of the artist Mary Cassatt, which will lead to them producing examples of work in her style.
  • Colour mixing- shades and tones
  • 3D work- paper sculpture (developing accurate cutting and sticking skills)
  • Construction of 3D models using found materials.
