New swimming pool to open in Olympic year

Crosfields is delighted to confirm that planning approval for their new swimming pool project was granted by Wokingham Borough Council in January. The state of the art pool is the next large scale development project for the School.

Autumn Term

Work this term is geography based, and focuses on comparing different localities, starting to interpret maps, and understanding the impact of environmental change.

Spring Term

Work this term is history based, focusing on significant events and famous people such as ‘The Great Fire of London’ and ‘Florence Nightingale’.

Summer Term

This term’s work is geography based, and focuses on comparing Reading, with a contrasting UK locality.

(For this study, a fictional Scottish Island called Struay is used. This island is the setting for the “Katie Morag” stories, written by Mairi Hedderwick.)
