Rounders

The game of Rounders is taught to all girls from Year 3 onwards. They are initially introduced to a simple form of the sport to get a feel for the activity but this very quickly develops into a more recognisable game. They work on the skills of throwing, catching, batting and bowling which are then performed with greater speed and accuracy as the girls mature. Everyone is involved in the matches against other schools which provide a positive learning experience and motivation for further practice.
