New swimming pool to open in Olympic year

Crosfields is delighted to confirm that planning approval for their new swimming pool project was granted by Wokingham Borough Council in January. The state of the art pool is the next large scale development project for the School.

Food Technology Room

Antony Worrall Thompson celebrity chef visited to open our Food Technology Room in 2009.  Mr Worrall Thompson cut a large cake decorated with the Crosfields School crest and signed a 5ft long specially commissioned spoon crafted from beech wood which now hangs on the wall as a reminder of the day and as an inspiration to the young chefs.

The new Food Tech room has a demonstration area which seats 20 at 6 workstations and the room is fully equipped to high specifications with built in stainless steel Bosch ovens and microwaves, fully integrated dishwashers, continuous worktops for food preparation and spacious food storage areas.  The room is used for lunchtime and after school hobbies and activities as well as curriculum lessons.
