New swimming pool to open in Olympic year

Crosfields is delighted to confirm that planning approval for their new swimming pool project was granted by Wokingham Borough Council in January. The state of the art pool is the next large scale development project for the School.

New Swimming Pool

A state of the art swimming pool is the current large scale development project for Crosfields School.

Features include:

  • 5 lanes
  • 25 metres x 10 metres
  • Variable depth floor – 0cm to 2metres
  • Changing facilities for 60 swimmers
  • Spectator seating for 130 guests
  • UV Filtered
  • 4x 100KW Boilers

Where and when:

  • Adjacent to the Sports Hall
  • Planning Submitted September 2010
  • April 2011 construction starts
  • Completion of build July 2012
  • Operational use September 2012
