At Crosfields we take pride in the pastoral care we provide for all our pupils. The class or form teacher is responsible for the overall welfare of the children in their class or form and is the first point of contact for parents.
In addition to this, the pastoral care of the children is overseen in the case of the younger children by the Head of Pre-Prep and Head of Junior School, whilst for the older pupils the Heads of Years 5, 6 and 7 have responsibility for their year groups and a strong team of Year 8 tutors take responsibility for their own forms. The Senior Management Team comprising the Director of Studies, Deputy Head and Headmaster take a particular interest in the welfare and pastoral care of all pupils in the school.
All classes are given time for PSHE activities. For the younger children this is often through “circle time” whilst from Year 6 PSHE lessons are lead by a specialist teacher.
