In September 1982 the first computer was introduced to Crosfields School. It was a Sinclair ZX81 and from that moment, the school experienced a rapidly increasing role for ICT within the school.
Through involvement with BBC micros and Acorn Archimedes computers and finally the PC platform, the school now possesses a modern, site-wide computer network comprising of approximately 140 computers running Microsoft Windows.
Crosfields has two well-equipped computer rooms available for class use, as well as a computer in all classrooms.
All pupils receive one ICT lesson per week and also have the opportunity to use one of the computer suites during their curriculum studies. Both of the suites are well used throughout the week.
