Our staff are committed to developing strong relationships with the girls and boys, which is based on trust, honesty and mutual respect. Our staff are dedicated to ensuring our pastoral care is outstanding at every level. The supportive, considerate and nurturing environment we have created gives children the confidence to be themselves, to be happy and to flourish. Nothing is more important than the care given to the children.
The form teacher is responsible for the overall welfare of the children in their class or form and is the first point of contact for parents.
In addition to this, the pastoral care of the children is overseen by our Head of Pre-Prep, Head of Junior School, Head of Middle and Head of Senior School.
The Senior Leadership Team, comprising the Headmaster, Academic Deputy, Deputy Head, Head of the Junior School, Head of Pre-Prep, Head of Teaching and Learning and the Bursar take a particular interest in the welfare and pastoral care of all pupils in the school.
Each Year group has timetabled PSHE lessons. For the younger children this is often through "circle time".
