During Mental Health Awareness Week, pupils and staff at Crosfields were reminded of the importance of taking care of our mental health.
Organised by the Mental Health Foundation, the week gave a particular focus to getting out and about on daily walks and taking exercise. The sense of being close to nature or around natural surroundings was emphasised to children through their form time and through TEAMS.
Crosfields truly is an active community that enjoys exercise, and throughout the week, staff members began to share images of themselves out and about on their runs, walks, bike rides and even freshwater swimming to encourage the children to do the same. Families shared their photos, too, and it was inspiring to see how much the children were enjoying their outdoor exercise.
