During the summer months, work on the brand new Senior School building got underway at Crosfields School.
No sooner had the children left for the summer holidays, than the groundworks had begun, preparing the car park and foundations for the super new facility that will be ready for use in autumn 2021. The new building is part of the school's project to extend its pupil age to 16, offering a complete education journey from Nursery through to GCSE. The first cohort of children to take their GCSEs at Crosfields will be in Year 9 in September 2021, where they will enjoy a brand new Senior School building that offers bright classrooms, a performance space and refectory serving exciting menu options for Senior children.
This academic year, parents were welcomed with a new and improved car parking and traffic flow system. An effective 'kiss and drop' has been implemented for the older children with a new entrance opened from the Shinfield Road, and a brand new car park by our Sports Centre. As Crosfields holds charitable status, the school is committed to reinvesting funds back into its facilities, and recent projects have included the artificial turf pitch, cricket pavillion, sports centre and swimming pool.
