Super Science

Pupils in Year 7 enjoyed an interactive science lesson recently which took a close look at the internal organs of a pig, including its lungs and heart.

Following a presentation of the different organs and how they work, the children were then able to touch and feel the lungs and heart, should they want to, discussing the differences between the two.  The demonstration finished with the lungs being inflated.  The session left the pupils with a lot to talk about, with one pupil commenting that it was "an amazing experience, seeing the anatomy of an animal first hand".
