Donations of food flooded into school recently for the annual Crosfields Harvest Festival.
Girls and boys in Year 8, ably assisted by children from the Pre-Prep, sorted and packed hundreds of items of donated food into crates for local independent food bank, Readifood who provide food parcels to those in need in the local community.
Thanks to the generosity of parents and families, over 15 crates of food (and a further car boot full!) were prepared by the children. The importance of Readifood's work was explained to the children in a special Collect by a representative from the Wokingham Food Bank, and the children enjoyed being able to contribute to this worthy cause.
