The Crosfields Wellbeing Ambassador Programme launched recently, as eight Senior pupils were chosen to promote and support wellbeing throughout the school.
Scarlett, Oliver, Paula, Elijah, Zara, Yash, Jeevan and Austin, who are all in Year 8, were thrilled to have been selected for these brand-new roles. Their responsibilities include acting as positive role models for other pupils and being available for pupils to talk to about their wellbeing, as well as helping to review the school’s wellbeing policies and procedures.
By way of an introduction to their roles, the ambassadors took on the challenging task of judging the wellbeing-themed 'House Art Competition' with teacher of Art, Miss Beare. Other work they've taken on included recording themselves reading stories containing positive messages for younger pupils. The ambassadors will also receive some training to help develop their interpersonal and communication skills. Deputy Head Pastoral, Mr. Mallins, was pleased with the initiative so far and hopes to be able to appoint more Wellbeing Ambassadors over the coming months.
