The Crosfields 1st Netball Team travelled to Cranleigh School recently to compete in a regional round of the U13 Netball IAPS Competition.
During the morning the Senior girls played matches within their pool. They played some great netball throughout the morning, dominating their games and by lunchtime had progressed into the Plate competition for the afternoon. The girls showed good form by pulling together as a team to play exciting netball, going on to win their quarter final game. This meant that they had progressed to the semi final where the Crosfields team met some strong opponents who pulled ahead in the second half. The girls showed real determination by winning the match; they never let their heads drop and were focused and ready for their 3rd/4th play-off against one of the teams who had previously beaten them 6-4 in the morning.
Crosfields proved they were the stronger team yet again by dominating the match and coming away with an 11-4 win to claim bronze medals! It was a true team performance with each girl playing her part in every game.
