Activities Programme
Extra curricular activities are an inspiring way to engage children whilst allowing them to learn new skills, develop further and challenge themselves.
At Crosfields we believe this is a vital part in their education and so we offer a wide breadth of activities from lacrosse to fencing, forest school to chess, science club to MTech, a whole host of school choirs and instrumental groups to the school rock band to name but a few. Besides being fun and a great way to socialise with their peers our pupils can learn vital life skills such as time management, stress management skills and improve their overall productivity whilst giving them the chance to try out new activities.
Our hobbies are run at lunchtime and the end of the school day by qualified coaches and our own teaching staff. The breadth of hobbies available increases as your child progresses through the school and most hobbies are included free of charge. Where a specialist coach/teacher comes into school there is a charge and a consent form will need to be completed.
Pupils are able to choose their hobbies at the end of term for the following term and sign up their interest. Lists are finalised before the end of term ready for the start of the new term.
