The school day starts at 08:30 with registration, but children can be dropped in their classrooms any time after 08.15. There is either a Collect (Assembly) or form time from 08:40. Lessons begin at 09:00 and the children follow a varied and exciting timetable throughout the day. Each lesson is 30 minutes long. Morning break time is at 10:30 and lasts for 30 minutes. Children are provided with a snack before going out to play on their well-equipped play grounds. Lunch time starts for Nursery at 11:45, Reception at 11:50, Year 1 at 12:00, and Year 2 at 12:10 and is followed by a 30 minute play session. After lunch, the children continue their lessons until 15:15. Morning only sessions in Nursery end at 12:30.
All children have the opportunity to stay in school until 16:15 for ‘Short Stay’ or until 17:50 for ‘After School Care’ (Long Stay). The children who are staying for After School Care are given a light snack of sandwiches and fruit.
