Thank you for your interest in Crosfields and our April Open Morning.

Some things can’t be captured in a prospectus or a website.

The warmth of a welcome.
The joy of learning.
Teachers who notice the small things.
Being known – not just taught.
Confident pupils who speak up.
Being stretched but always supported.

It’s the feeling of being exactly where they should be.

When you know, you know

Join us for our Whole School Open Morning on Saturday 25 April, 9:30 -12:30 and experience Crosfields for yourself.

What makes Crosfields special

At Crosfields, we take great pride in our 40 acres of beautiful green campus in Reading – a space where children aged 2 to 16 can learn, play, and grow. Every day, our pupils benefit from a strong academic foundation supported by a rich and varied co‑curricular programme. Most importantly, we are a nurturing community where children are encouraged to develop confidence, curiosity, and character, and to feel truly known and supported.
An exciting new chapter
We are entering an exciting new chapter in our school’s journey. In June 2026, we will be expanding our Little Acorns Nursery to welcome children from the age of two and three, offering year‑round care in newly refurbished early‑years spaces. Looking ahead, we are also preparing to open our new Sixth Form in 2028. This will build on our all‑through ethos and create an inspiring senior environment where our pupils can continue to thrive – academically, personally, and as part of a warm and forward‑looking community.
What to Expect at the Open Morning:
  • Meet our Head and teaching staff
  • Tour the school and speak with our pupils
  • Explore our facilities and outdoor spaces
  • Discover how children learn and grow at Crosfields
  • Take part in hands on activities
  • Ask any questions
Whether your child is just beginning their educational journey or preparing for the next stage, this is the perfect opportunity to see Crosfields for yourself.

Early Years

Choosing the right Early Years setting is one of the most important decisions a parent can make. At Crosfields School, we understand the significance of this step and are committed to making the journey a positive and enriching experience for every child and their family.

Juniors

Juniors is where pupils grow in confidence, curiosity and independence. Our specialist‑led teaching, vibrant curriculum and joyful community help every child discover their talents and embrace new challenges. With small class sizes, inspiring learning spaces and a culture that celebrates individuality, pupils feel known, supported and encouraged to aim high. This is a place where learning feels exciting, and where every child can thrive.

Seniors

Crosfields Seniors is a vibrant, academically ambitious community where pupils are encouraged to aim high and supported to achieve their personal best. Our teaching philosophy centres on “teach to the top and scaffold up”, ensuring every pupil is both challenged and guided as they grow in confidence and capability. This commitment reflects our wider dedication to innovation, diversity and opportunity, three pillars that define a Crosfields education.
