The House System is integral to your child’s daily life in Juniors and their journey through Years 3 to 6 at Crosfields.

Each pupil is assigned a House upon entry to Juniors. There are 4 Houses: Lake, Marlborough, Park and School.

The pastoral care for each House is overseen by the ‘Head of House’ and as such, a personalised, long-standing informed relationship can be maintained between pastoral lead, pupil and parents. This allows us to deliver effective and consistent communication between staff and parents throughout a pupil’s journey from Year 3 to Year 6.

In Year 6, pupil-led roles such as House Captains allow for effective peer-to-peer support and leadership opportunities.

The House System is also used as a platform for events, competitions and creative opportunities.  With a wide variety of activities, there is something on offer to facilitate all pupils getting involved and representing their House. 21st century life skills such as teamwork, creativity, organisation, resilience and leadership are all honed as pupils strive to challenge themselves within their House community.
