For most pupils, the day begins with registration although some will have taken advantage of our supervised Breakfast Club which runs from 07:30. After meeting with their tutor every morning, pupils will either be part of a tutor time, Collect (assembly), singing practice or a House Meet before starting academic lessons at 09:00.

Lessons are mostly one hour in length (with the occasional half an hour) and there are 2 one-hour lessons before break starts at 11.00. During break pupils can access refreshments, complete some work in the Library, relax in a social room or go outside to burn off some energy on the fields, pickleball courts, table tennis or cricket nets.

Academic classes resume at 11:30 and continue until a staggered lunch begins in The Hatch at 13:00, with pupils in Year 10 and 11 remaining in their lessons until 13:30. There is a wide variety of dining options available each day, and should the weather permit, pupils may take a ‘grab ‘n’ go’ sandwich or a hot wrap to enjoy al fresco.

The academic or sporting curriculum restarts at 14:00 (14:30 for Years 10 and 11) and two additional one-hour lessons are enjoyed. Pupils in Years 7 through 9 are then free to go home at 16:00, while older pupils conclude at 16:30.

Pupils have the opportunity to stay beyond the end of the school day either to participate in the Prep (homework) Club situated in the library or to take part in a variety of extracurricular activities. These activities last until 17:30, but pupils are welcome to use the library until 18:00.
