Results
Crosfields School is proud to celebrate the exceptional achievements of its second cohort of GCSE pupils. This summer, 39 Year 11 students sat their exams, and their results reflect not only academic excellence but also the school’s evolving legacy of ambition, resilience, and community spirit.
Headline Results:
• 99% of GCSE entries were awarded grades 4–9, well above the national average of 67%
• 71% of all grades were at the top levels of 7–9 — a 26% increase from 2024
• Value-added score places Crosfields in the top 10% nationally, highlighting the school’s commitment to helping every pupil exceed expectations
Subject Highlights:
Several departments saw outstanding outcomes, with a high proportion of top grades (8 or 9):
- History – 75%
- Computing – 72%
- Biology & Chemistry – 63%
- Physics – 56%
- Business & Psychology – 53%
Pupil Destinations:
All pupils achieved the grades required to secure their Sixth Form or college placements. Students will be progressing to a diverse range of destinations, including both state and independent Sixth Forms, further education colleges, and grammar schools. A number have also been awarded academic scholarships.
