What is your child's date of birth?

We are looking for children who are excited to become part of the Crosfields family. We value pupils who are curious, ambitious, kind and ready to embrace every opportunity. If you would like to experience Crosfields for yourself, we warmly invite you to attend one of our Open Events.

If you have any questions at any stage of the application process, please don’t hesitate to contact our Admissions team, we are always happy to help: admissions@crosfields.com

The process for each entry point

  1. We would encourage all potential applicants to visit Crosfields, either at an Open Event or an Individual Tour. We also have Experience Days for those looking to join Year 3 upwards. You can book a visit here.
  2. You should then register your child here.
  3. For entry to Little Acorns Nursery, there is no assessment process. We would just ask that we meet your little one ahead of accepting a place.
  4. For entry to Little Acorns Pre-School and Reception, children are required to come along to a Stay & Play session (for Pre-School) or a Reception Taster session. For dates and to book a place see our visit us page here.
  5. For entry in Years 1 and 2, children will be invited for a taster morning where they will join a class and experience lessons at Crosfields.
  6. For entry in Years 3-6, children will come in for an assessment morning. This will consist of CAT4 tests, a creative writing task and an interview with our Head of Juniors. They will also get to join a class for some lessons and enjoy lunch with us.
  7. For entry in Year 7, pupils will come in for an assessment day. This will consist of CAT4 tests, a creative writing task, an interview with a Senior teacher and some team building activities.
  8. For entry in Year 8-10, pupils will come in for an assessment morning. This will consist of CAT4 tests, a creative writing task and an interview with a Senior teacher. We may also discuss GCSE options for older pupils.

We aim to send results within 2-3 weeks of the assessment, although this can often be sooner. A deadline to accept the place will be given within the offer letter, along with requesting a £1,000 deposit (refundable when your child leaves the school).
