What is the staff-to-child ratio?
We keep our groups small with a high staff-to-child ratio of 1:4, which is even better than the recommended guidance. This means we have more time to get to know each child, follow their interests, and support them as they grow in confidence, independence, and curiosity.
Can I choose which days my child attends?
In the Pre-School, children attend a minimum of five sessions per week. In the Nursery, children attend a minimum of 3 sessions a week.
What do meals include?
Children receive a healthy mid-morning snack, mid-afternoon and a nutritious, hot lunch. Meals are prepared on-site and designed to encourage healthy eating habits.
Is wrap-around care available?
Yes. In addition to core hours, we offer optional wrap-around care:
Breakfast Club: From 07:30
After School Care: Available until 16:15 (free ofcharge) or extended until 17:50 (with a fee)
Is there a natural progression to Pre-School for Nursery children?
Nursery children regularly enjoy shared experiences with pre-school throughout the year, spending time with both the children and staff. This helps them feel confident, familiar and ready, making the move into Pre-School a smooth and happy transition.
Is there a natural transition to Reception for Pre-School children?
Absolutely. Pre-School children enjoy shared experiences with Reception-aged children, and teachers visiting the Reception classrooms, making the transition into the main school smooth and familiar.
Is my child guaranteed a place in Reception?
Children in our Nursery are warmly welcomed into our Pre-School community. This allows children to move on with confidence, feeling familiar with the environment, routines, and staff, ensuring a smooth and happy next step in their journey.
Can we access government funding?
Yes. Eligible families can use up to up to 30 hours (for Nursery) and 15 hours (for Pre-School) of government Early Years Funding. Additional hours are chargeable.
