Staff Wellbeing and Benefits

We take the wellbeing of our staff seriously and offer a comprehensive package of benefits designed to support health, happiness, and work–life balance. Staff enjoy daily complimentary lunches and refreshments during term time, including hot beverages, snacks, and fruit, with breakfast available at a subsidised rate.

Our wellbeing offering includes allocated access to the school’s swimming pool and strength and conditioning suite, up to 40% off Nuffield Health membership, and a dedicated employee wellbeing platform through the UNUM app. This platform provides a 24/7 remote GP, mental health support, physiotherapy, second medical opinions, financial and legal guidance, lifestyle content, and access to an online lifestyle coach and personal trainer.

A dynamic Staff Wellbeing Team also organises events and initiatives throughout the year, ranging from BBQs for staff and families to running clubs with a coach, book club, Friday sport sessions, Walking Wednesdays, and our much loved Secret Buddies scheme.

Additional benefits include fee remission for staff children (minimum 25% pro rata for parttime roles), participation in our contributory salary sacrifice pension scheme, income protection, death in service cover, and staff discounts at Stevensons, Ultimate Activity holiday camps, B&Q, and Nuffield Health. INSET childcare support is also available.

Safeguarding and Recruitment

Crosfields is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. All positions require thorough pre-employment checks, including references, online checks, and an enhanced DBS check.
