Welcome to Crosfields Juniors which encompasses Years 3, 4, 5 and 6. In my role as Head of Juniors, I lead the team of dedicated pastoral and academic staff and together we look forward to overseeing your child flourish as they journey through the School.
The transition from Pre-Prep is supported by our warm and friendly team, helping every child to feel a strong sense of belonging from the very start. Each pupil is nurtured and encouraged to do their best, whether in the classroom, on the sports field or through the myriad of opportunities available for their personal development and all-round growth.
With a wealth of experiences both inside and outside the classroom, we fully utilise our exceptional facilities across our 40-acre site to deliver a dynamic academic and holistic curriculum. State-of-the-art sports facilities and specialist teaching rooms for Art, DT, Science, Drama and Computing provide our pupils with stimulating and innovative environments.
Establishing an open partnership with parents is of upmost importance to us and we are committed to providing outstanding communication. Form teachers have a special responsibility for the welfare of each individual child, and this is complimented in each year group by the by our Head of Year team which is a crucial component of our excellent pastoral care. Our pastoral systems are detailed later in this booklet.
As children move through the Juniors, lessons are increasingly taught by subject specialists who are passionate, inspirational and experts in their field. This ensures that by the time children reach Year 6 they are fully prepared for life in Seniors.
Every pupil is academically challenged and encouraged to strive beyond their potential, developing the ambition, resilience and confidence they need. Our provision is enriched through a wide range of trips, workshops, residential experiences and co-curricular activities, alongside a bespoke enrichment programme, ensuring that every child has the opportunity to discover their individual talents and develop the essential skills for the modern world.
During their time here, pupils are guided to develop into independent and confident learners, enabling them to realise their full potential within a caring, supportive and aspirational environment. I look forward to welcoming your children into the Juniors and to supporting them as they settle into this next stage of their education.

Welcome to Year 3. As Head of Year I will be working closely with Mrs Robson and the Year 3 form teachers to ensure that your child is always happy and doing their best during their time with us.
