A lifelong local resident, Rachel’s passion for pastoral care was inspired by growing up in a family of educators. She began her career as a Drama teacher, quickly discovering a calling for pupil support when she stepped into the role of Head of Year. Since then, Rachel has served as a senior leader across three different secondary schools, specialising in pupil behaviour, welfare, and safeguarding. Rachel joined Crosfields School in September 2026 as the Senior Deputy Head. She is also a fully qualified Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) and a Mental Health First Aider.
