We are delighted to announce the appointment of Ms Rachel Zell as Senior Deputy Head, from September 2026.

Ms Zell will join Crosfields from St Crispin’s School where she is currently Deputy Head. She is a highly accomplished and greatly respected school leader, bringing extensive expertise in safeguarding, pastoral care, and the development of a positive, ambitious whole‑school culture. Throughout her career, she has built strong and trusting relationships with pupils, families, and colleagues, and is recognised for her calm, thoughtful leadership and her unwavering commitment to ensuring every child feels valued and supported.

At St Crispin’s, Ms Zell has played a pivotal role in strengthening pastoral systems, enhancing wellbeing provision, and upholding the highest standards of safeguarding practice. Her work in nurturing an inclusive, purposeful school community stood out throughout the recruitment process. She combines professional rigour with genuine warmth and brings a clarity of vision that aligns strongly with Crosfields’ values.
