We are incredibly proud to share that Mrs Pooja Patel has been shortlisted for the Primary Curriculum Leader of the Year category in the TES Schools Awards 2026.
This well‑deserved recognition celebrates Mrs Patel’s outstanding commitment to STEM and the exceptional impact she has across the school. Her passion, expertise and tireless dedication continue to inspire both pupils, colleagues and the wider community.

Mrs Patel, the Curriculum Lead for Science has worked at Crosfields for 4 years and teaches all Sciences in Juniors, said: “ I am so incredibly moved to be nominated and shortlisted for this award. I feel very fortunate to be part of such a supportive and inspiring team.”
She added: “My heartfelt thanks go to my colleagues and our amazing science technicians. Your dedication, teamwork and expertise are the heartbeat of everything we do. You make it possible for our pupils to experience the real magic of science and STEM. I am also so grateful to our wonderful pupils for their curiosity and enthusiasm, and to our parents for their unwavering support and shared commitment to nurturing curiosity and a genuine love of learning.”
The winners will be announced at a central London ceremony on 19th June, hosted by comedian Katherine Ryan.
