Open Days at Crosfields: What Families Can Expect

Choosing the right school for your child is one of the most important decisions a family can make.

Whether you’re looking for a place in Reception, considering a move into Year 3, joining our Senior School, or exploring our exciting new Sixth Form opening in September 2027, our Open Events are designed to help you get a feel for life at Crosfields first-hand, beyond the prospectus and website.

Our next Whole School Open Morning on Saturday 26 September welcomes families interested in every stage of the Crosfields journey, from ages 2 to 16. If you’re specifically considering Sixth Form, we also invite you to our dedicated Sixth Form Information Evening on Tuesday 29 September, where you’ll discover our innovative new offer for students aged 16-18 from September 2027.

Our Open Events provide a genuine insight into our welcoming community, inspiring teaching and outstanding learning environment. You’ll meet pupils, teachers and senior leaders, visit classrooms and specialist facilities, and experience the warmth, ambition and enthusiasm that makes Crosfields School such a special place to learn and grow.

As you explore the school, you’ll discover how our broad curriculum develops confident, curious learners at every age. From our nurturing Little Acorns Nursery and Pre-School, our Pre-Prep and Prep School through to an ambitious Senior School curriculum and our future-focused Sixth Form, pupils benefit from personalised teaching, small class sizes and exceptional pastoral care. You’ll also learn about our extensive co-curricular programme, including sport, performing arts, music, STEM, robotics, coding, creative arts, outdoor learning, leadership opportunities and educational trips that help every child discover their passions.

Our Admissions Team will be available to explain the admissions process, scholarships, bursaries and key application dates, while current pupils and staff will be on hand to answer questions and share their own experiences of life at Crosfields.

Three smiling female students in school uniforms stand beside a tall blue Crosfields School Tour Guides sign.

Visitors will also have the opportunity to tour our outstanding facilities, including science laboratories, technology suites, art and design spaces, music studios, sports facilities, outdoor learning environments and collaborative learning spaces, all designed to inspire curiosity, creativity and academic excellence.

From September 2027, Crosfields will become a school for pupils aged 2 to 18, offering a seamless educational journey from Nursery to Sixth Form. Whether your child is taking their very first steps into education, moving schools during their primary years, preparing for GCSEs or planning for university and beyond, Crosfields provides an exceptional balance of academic ambition, individual support and enriching opportunities.

We look forward to welcoming you and helping you discover whether Crosfields is the right choice for your family.
