We are pleased to announce the appointment of Mr Simon Jukes to the new Deputy Head of Juniors position at Crosfields School, a role that will provide valuable support to the leadership team.

Mr Jukes, who is currently Head of Induction for Early Career Teachers, Head of Junior Boys’ PE and Games, and Head of Core PE at St Benedict’s School, will join Crosfields from September.

He is an accomplished and widely respected educator whose impact spans classroom practice, pastoral support, staff development, and curriculum leadership. He brings considerable specialist knowledge in PE, Games, and PSHE, together with a longstanding commitment to supporting pupils’ personal growth and wellbeing.

At St Benedict’s, Mr Jukes has been instrumental in developing high‑quality provision across Key Stages 1–3, leading the design of the Core PE curriculum and directing Junior Boys’ PE and Games. Mr Jukes said: “Crosfields’ strong sense of community stood out to me. The school’s values clearly underpin both the academic and co-curricular life of the school. As I begin my time at Crosfields, my priority will be to listen and learn about what makes the school such a special place and I am looking forward to getting to know the pupils, staff, and parents who shape the community.”
