Open Morning: Discover What Makes Crosfields Special

Crosfields School, an all-through co-educational independent school in Reading, is looking forward to welcoming families to its upcoming Whole School Open Morning on Saturday 25 April, 9:30–12:30.

For families searching for a private school in Reading or exploring options from nursery through to senior school, the event offers a valuable opportunity to experience the school and its ethos in person and is designed to give families a genuine insight into daily life at Crosfields.

“We believe what sets Crosfields apart can’t always be captured in a prospectus or on a website – it’s something you feel when you visit,” said Crosfield’s Head, Mrs Caroline Townshend. “We would love you to experience it for yourself and see what we have to offer. We look forward to welcoming you.”

What Makes Crosfields Special

Set within 40 acres of beautiful green campus in Reading, Crosfields School is a place where children aged 2 to 16 are encouraged to embrace every stage of their journey -flourishing academically and growing into happy, confident individuals, supported by a values-led, future-focused curriculum designed to prepare them for any challenge.

Crosfields provides a nurturing community that builds confidence, curiosity, and character with a rich and varied co-curricular programme.

Above all, every child at Crosfields is truly known and supported.

Looking Ahead: An Exciting New Chapter

The Open Morning comes at an exciting time. From June 2026, Crosfields will expand its Little Acorns Nursery to welcome children aged two and three, alongside newly refurbished early years spaces and year-round provision.

Plans are also underway for the launch of a Sixth Form in 2028, further strengthening the school’s all-through offering and providing a clear pathway for pupils to continue their journey within the Crosfields community.
